Sweet Heart - Melt Art

It is first time for me to make embellishments by using Ranger Melt art tools. It is so many fun to create the lovely style embellishments by your own for tags, cards, scrapbooking page, mixed media and paper craft projects.

Here, you can see the Ranger Melt Art tools which are needed : Melting Pot, Ultra thick embossing enamel (UTEE), Melt art texture treads, Non stick craft sheet, and Melt Art Heat it ink. You may use different shape of cookie models to help you for creating the shape that you want.

As I decided to use this embellishment on the Feb 2013 Tag of Tim Holtz's Tag Challenge ,  I chose to have the heart shape for matching the St' Valentine's Day theme.

Firstly, I put the UTEE into the melting pot. As you seen, when it was heat, it turned to clear. After all the UTEE becomes liquid, you may add your favourite color of Heat it ink. Remeber, only 1-3 drops are enough.  This color is transparent. If you want some solid colur, you may use the White UTEE instead.

After you mixed the color, you may use your cookie model to fix the shape on the Melt art texture treads and wait for it turing to solid. But, please be careful that the cookie model was a little bit hot.  "Liquid" UTEE was cooling down very fast.

When you fill the liquid being soft solid, You need to turn around the cookie model and press the Melt art texture treads to make sure your shape was being cut.The Melt art texture was heat resistant.

The shape and the embossed pattern was already created. It is better to add some perfect pearls on it. It made your embossed pattern embellishment become more visible.

Do no through away excess colored UTEE, it can be re-melt and turn back to liquid.
I put them together and just pour on the Craft sheet for cooling down. It is easy to store the below round piece by different color and re-use them for other project.
